Hey, I'm Madelynn, an Oregon and destination wedding photographer, and the one behind MB Captured Moment.
I'm drawn to the in-between moments: the quiet glances, the way your dress moves, how the day actually felt rather than just how it looked. My work leans timeless with a soft edge of nostalgia, pairing honest emotion with an editorial eye for detail. I'll keep things easy, guide you when it matters, and make sure your photos feel like you... Natural, elevated, unmistakably yours.
Growing up in Paulina, Oregon, I spent my childhood on the ranch, horseback and outdoors, my mom's camera usually somewhere nearby. I'd photograph the foals in the field, the birds, anything that caught my eye. That habit of noticing turned into a genuine love for documenting moments, and eventually into a career as an Oregon wedding photographer.
Watching two people together... the small, unguarded moments between them have held my attention since I was a kid. Now I travel Oregon and beyond, documenting love stories and handing couples galleries full of the moments they'll remember forever.

Most people default to a quick smile and “look at the camera,” but I’m far more interested in what happens in between. The quiet hugs, the unprompted laughter, the subtle glances when you think no one’s paying attention, that’s where the meaning lives.

My husband and I were so nervous to be in front of the camera , but we had so much fun at our engagement sesh and Madelynn made us feel so comfortable with her guided approach.
Our wedding day was absolute chaos- crazy weather , timeline way behind - missing items - you name it . Madelynn was so professional, adaptable , and beyond helpful and above and beyond (she literally sprinted to the adjacent hotel to get our rings mid ceremony when we realized we didn’t have them!😅)
The photos we got of not only us- but our friends and family - are so beautiful. I never imagined that my wedding photos could be so stunning - especially on a very overcast day when I had been dreaming of sun. We got our sneak peaks back within days while still on our honeymoon, it was SO special. I could rave about the photos for paragraphs but I feel like they speak for themselves!
